Ready to Go!
May 9th- I have less than a week to go! I had the shortest Dr. visit so far...he checked me and I was a 3, said some other great things like, "you should have a great delivery!" Phew! Let's hope!
May 12- Feeling a lot of pressure. Like always I called my sister who is a nurse and Adam who is an OB in WA state to ask what the heck was going on! I have frequent Braxton Hicks and cramping, but no real labor yet. Needless to say I was unfamiliar with the whole pressure thing and found out it was probably her head in the birth canal now--so she is ready to go!

- 2 more days of tossing and turning and peeing at all hours of the night.
- 2 more days of having only 2 kids!
- 2 more days of waddling like I rode a horse all day
- 2 more days of indigestion and eating tums like candy
- 2 more days of sharp back pain whenever I get up
- 2 more days of bumping into everyone and everything thinking "I can squueze by..."

Ultrasound
My Dr. visit went well. Although my blood pressure was high, he wasn't as concerned with that as how small I was measuring. (Yeah, I think I'm huge!) But he said I hadn't grown since the week before. He was worried my amniotic fluid was low, so we did an ultrasound to make sure. Her'e her cute little profile. She kept her hands by her face, so it was hard to get a good shot. I just love the cute nose and pouty lips!
She was measuring 6 lbs 2 oz (if those are ever acurate) and was kicking my sides like crazy. Head down and dilated to a 2...

Making History!
So I've never gone past 35 weeks with my other 2 kids...and now I'm 36 weeks!! I've officially made history in our little family. :) We are quite excited about the thought of having a full-term baby! It was funny when I was talking to my Dr. about an induction date, he said he's never seen someone so excited about going full-term!
So the date is set...May 16th!!! Unless my body or the baby doesn't cooperate...that is when we are going in to be induced. We are praying for no more vision episodes and hoping I won't go into labor (which I highly doubt considering my mother's history!)
So this is after church today. We had to document this day! I feel bigger than I've ever been and I'm just going to get even bigger!!!!! Ahhh! The kids wanted to join in the documentation. :)
Here is baby Aidrian's room all finished. I painted a shelf and added cute fun decor that matches Kaylin's side of the room. Bought letters for her name and put them up just to see if I liked it enough to really name her that. They haven't come down yet...so I think it's here to stay...
Ethan wanted to join me in the picture. The kids are so excited about the baby. Now that we have a date--or goal, I told Kaylin and she can somewhat understand the time frame. She knows her days of the week and also months, so after I told her, Daddy came home and she told him at least 3 times that the baby wasn't coming this Friday, or next Friday, but she'll come the NEXT Friday after that! It's pretty cute. We made a calendar and the countdown has officially begun!

32 weeks!
So I'm 8 months now! It's crazy how fast this pregnancy has gone by! She's almost here! I had my other babes at 35 weeks, but we are trying to keep this one a bit longer! So I'm hoping for 4-6 more weeks left to go! That would make me 36-38 weeks for delivery. Keep your fingers crossed for a strong and healthy little girl, no matter when she comes! (These pictures are from Easter Sunday...)
My cutie Kaylin and mama's big tummy. She's such a sweetheart. Looking forward to meeting her new sister...She said to me the other day (I had the flu and looked terrible...) "Mom, your tummy is really getting big! I think it's almost time for her to come out!"
Ethan is so sweet with babies. He even talks quieter to them. Whenever they cry he sings Twinkle Twinkle to get them to go to sleep. Ethan said the cutest prayer the other night, "Thank you mommy has a baby in her tummy...strong and healthy...come out and play...and she laugh at me like 'hee hee" like that...she think I'm funny..."
Ah Travis Chase. What an awesome husband and friend...at least I haven't scared him to death with this pregnancy, although my little complications have been annoying...he's right there helping, caring, comforting and lifting.
I love my family!

Love my girlies
Sweet Kaylin loves taking pics with mommy. And she loves her baby sister. Doesn't ever forget her in her prayers. Now that I'm getting bigger, it's becoming more real to her and now she asks if the baby will come tomorrow! (I wish--but not quite yet...)
I'm so excited to have another girl. They are so sweet and precious. Tender and lovable. I wonder what baby girl will be like? Whatever, I know I will fall in love with her even though she's kicking the heck out of my sides!
