Today we went in for our ultrasound. I was pretty anxious, but almost certain it would be a boy! But I was wrong! Above is a picture of the girl parts (which my sister calls the hamburger) the three lines...all I can say it that is not how Ethan's ultrasound looked! I asked it the techinician was totally sure, she said 100%! Wow!
Here is her cute profile. Before we even knew she was a girl, we both thought she had Kaylin's little nose. She was so cute in there, at times bundled in a tiny ball, other times kicking my sides with her legs extended. One time her hand layed up by her face. It was so cute.I went and bought a pink blanket and a snuggly toy...I held the bag open and asked Kaylin to look inside and tell me if she thought we'd have a boy or girl. She exclaimed, "A GIRL!" Her little prayers were answered!! :) She wanted a sister from the beginning. We talked about when the baby is old enough to sleep in a crib, it will be in her room. (Although Travis thinks we should put her in Ethan's room because it's closer, I refuse because she just can't sleep in a blue walled room! :)) Kaylin is just more than happy and through out the day she giggles and says, "It's a girl! Mommy we are having a girl!" I can't wait till our baby is born!"

congatulations!!! i was thinking it was a boy also...ummmm. i bet kaylin is just dying of excitement! i have lost my cell phone..ugh..but will call you when i find it. it's been lost for 3 days now. great...
Woohoo! Congrats! Girls are so much fun! Kaylin will be a great big sister!
