30 weeks

7 months pregnant!

well we've finally reached the 7 month mark! went to the dr. today and everything went really well. all the things i was worried about checked out just fine. soooo relieved! the only thing i have to do is go to a neurologist for some tests about my dizzy spells and blurred vision. found out it's not my blood sugar after all.
ethan loves taking pictures. when he's not in them, he's my little photographer.
cute little man is turning 3 in 2 days! i can't believe it!

25 1/2 weeks

It's sad how I get fatter the closer I am to the third trimester. Oh well. Just hope it's not water weight like with Kaylin....eeeek! I guess a little meat isn't bad for a skinny thing like me. Baby got back!!!

A Girlie Garden!

Kaylin's bed. Got her cute sheets to match the baby's and new quilt comforter. I love it! Baby's crib. Still needs to be painted. But you get the idea. Since the room is so full of color, I can get away with having a pink crib skirt and green bumper. How cute is that???
Kaylin makes sure the baby is all tucked in with her extra pillow cover and her soft lovey.

22 weeks

Just had to show off my 22 week belly. Nobody believes me I'm that far along, but baby and I agree!!
Kaylin insisted on putting up the crib in her room. Got the two girlies matching sheets from Pottery Barn that I've been eyeing forever! They match her room perfectly. It's such a happy room!

the Name Game

I actually think I won't have to fight with Travis about this baby naming business this time! (he did with both of the others...) He likes both girl names we've talked about! (I know, it's amazing!!!)
Right now it's down to
Lexie Mika (mee-ka)
or
Aidrian Arahia (r-a-hya)
Both are Maori middle names Vicki gave to us. I love them both, and can't decide and I think it changes daily. ;) But Travis likes Lexie Mika and Kaylin is calling her Lexie too. Hmmmm.

It's fun to start calling her by her name while she's still inside, I guess you feel like you connect with her more. The kids both talk to her, putting their noses up to my belly. Kaylin giggles and says "Hi baby Lexie" and Ethan will say I have a cute baby in my tummy and then declares he does as well and sticks out his belly like a 5month pregnant lady! Oh wait, that's me! Ha ha

I'm so excited for her to come. Lots to do and it's going by way too fast! But I still can't wait!

A Sweet Baby Girl

Today we went in for our ultrasound. I was pretty anxious, but almost certain it would be a boy! But I was wrong! Above is a picture of the girl parts (which my sister calls the hamburger) the three lines...all I can say it that is not how Ethan's ultrasound looked! I asked it the techinician was totally sure, she said 100%! Wow!
Here is her cute profile. Before we even knew she was a girl, we both thought she had Kaylin's little nose. She was so cute in there, at times bundled in a tiny ball, other times kicking my sides with her legs extended. One time her hand layed up by her face. It was so cute.

I went and bought a pink blanket and a snuggly toy...I held the bag open and asked Kaylin to look inside and tell me if she thought we'd have a boy or girl. She exclaimed, "A GIRL!" Her little prayers were answered!! :) She wanted a sister from the beginning. We talked about when the baby is old enough to sleep in a crib, it will be in her room. (Although Travis thinks we should put her in Ethan's room because it's closer, I refuse because she just can't sleep in a blue walled room! :)) Kaylin is just more than happy and through out the day she giggles and says, "It's a girl! Mommy we are having a girl!" I can't wait till our baby is born!"
